Alert in UP following CAA Notification, Yogi Government Issues Strict Instructions

The Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) has been implemented across the country, with security measures heightened in every state. Following this, an alert has been issued across all districts in UP.

Alert in All Districts

DGP Prashant Kumar has directed officers in all districts to remain vigilant. Additional forces have been deployed in sensitive districts, with instructions for foot patrolling across UP. Surveillance through CCTV and drone cameras has been intensified, along with a sharp watch on social media.

Nationwide Implementation of the Law

The CAA, now implemented nationwide, aims to grant Indian citizenship to persecuted non-Muslim immigrants from Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Afghanistan up to December 31, 2014, including Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists, Parsis, and Christians.
